During the summer months the seafront is bustling with people gathering at one of the many restaurants or choosing a favoured spot for swimming and sunbathing along the long, golden beach. There is a lot of fun to be had for all the family with a variety of traditional seaside amusements, including crazy golf, arcades and ice cream stalls. If you like exploring, then Shanklin Chine is a must; with its natural beauty surrounded by waterfalls, streams and rare plants. The entrance is situated within Shanklin Old Village amongst popular local restaurants, pubs and thatched cottages.
