Comfortable self-contained private accommodation on the first floor of a separate guest house with independent access and free, dedicated parking. Accommodation comprises exclusive use of the first floor, includes a bedroom with king-size bed and private bathroom. Ideal for double occupancy and includes everything you need: bed linen, towels, Nespresso coffee machine, tea facilities, TV & Wi-Fi. Access to separate room with hanging space, iron and ironing board. Note no kitchen facilities.
Hosted by Julie Michael and I have lived in the village of South Milford, North Yorkshire since 2015. We aim to provide our guests with a welcome and comfortable stay, as well as all the information you need to enjoy our village and the surrounding area.
Located between Leeds and York is the rural village of South Milford. Surrounded by beautiful Yorkshire countryside ideal for walkers and cyclists. Perfectly located as a central hub to explore: Leeds and York for shopping/night life/work base for professionals working in Leeds, York, or Sherburn Industrial Estate. South Milford is a friendly quiet Yorkshire village, with a variety of properties from stone-built cottages and farmhouses to modern family homes. Twelfth century Steeton Hall is a short walk away, Towton Battlefield is a few miles up the road and Bramham Park, home to Leeds Festival is just a 20-minute drive. The village has brilliant amenities: two pubs (The Queen of T’owd Thatch – Best Sunday Lunch 2018 & 2022, The Observer - 5 mins walk, and The Swan 5 mins walk), tearoom/cafe (T-Post 2 mins walk), Indian restaurant/takeaway (Cumin Lounge 6 mins walk). Other amenities include St Mary’s Church of England Church (5 mins walk), South Milford Surgery (4 mins walk), Milford Pharmacy/Chemist (4 mins walk), Marks & Spencer Food (10 mins walk) and Supermarket (Aldi & Co-op Sherburn-in-Elmet - 5 mins by car or 30 mins walk).
