Company information

The Dragon Bed and Breakfast is a family run business. We have been at this property coming into our tenth year! We see our customers return annually, and it's lovely to catch up and see what they have been up to. We believe we go above and beyond to make our customers feel welcome, happy and relaxed, whilst you get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! You can enjoy a chilled beer, at the front of the B&B (weather permitting!) and enjoy watching the world go by. Or if you enjoy the quiet, enjoy a nice pot of Chinese / English tea with the daily newspaper and magazines to relax too. So ... a little about the family -- there's dad; Peter, mum; Lee, daughter Donna and son Paul. There's also grand-children too (but we will leave them out of this!) There is always a member of the family present at the B&B, to greet you and answer any queries you have. Joining us are our loyal staff (who are family to us) some who have been with us for almost a decade too!

Year after year we have refurbished and maintain the original building. This new year we have refurbished the public toilets for our customers, now with baby changing area in the ladies. Customer Notice -- we now have internet throughout the main building and in the 6 chalets rooms too -- please ask reception for information. A few years ago, we are the only bed and breakfast permitted to build our very own Mountain Bike Storage outhouse, attached to the chalets. 12 mountain bikes can be stored at any one time. At the Dragon Bed and Breakfast - we don't just serve you breakfast in the mornings; we open our doors to residents and non-residents in the evening, to our Chinese restaurant. We specialise in Chinese Cuisine, with a fusion of Thai in our cooking. If you would like more information please contact us.

Neighbourhood information

What can I say?? Betws-Y-Coed -- a spectacular beautiful part of North Wales that everyone should visit.... at least once (or twice) in their lifetime. We have an array of outdoor shops, who specialist with the knowledge of what type of clothing and footwear to take with you if you are treking up Snowdonia Mountain. In Betws, it's hard to decide where to lunch and dine, as there are so many places to eat and snack, if unsure please ask your host. We have a cluster of specialist shops, selling souvenirs, chocolate, jewellery, local art, the list is endless. This village is rarely quiet - as there are always vistors from all over the world who will come and climb Snowdonia. The Dragon is located around 20 minutes from Snowdon, there is local buses outside the B&B to take you to the foot of the mountain. Aside from that - we are about 45 mins - 1 hour from the local beaches (Anglesey, Llandudno, Colwyn Bay, Rhos-On Sea) about 1 1/2 hour to Abergele, Rhyl, Pensarn, Rhuddlan, Prestatyn) Around 45 minutes away from Conwy Castle, Penrhyn Castle, Caernarfon Castle) 20 minutes from Capel Curig, 10 minutes from Llanrwst, 10 minutes from Trefriw and Surf Snowdonia
