In 2020, local siblings Pia, Ivan and Cynthia embarked on the renovation of a home that’s been in their family for over two decades. A mix of new and old, just like the McLaren Vale region – this reno has breathed new life into the space, but not without a generous nod to its history. This 1950’s house, has beautiful living areas indoors and a fantastic BBQ entertaining area outside. Immerse yourself in the relaxing free standing bath or enjoy a wine out the front while taking in the the lovely views over the valley and to the hills. Located on the main road, on the town fringe, it’s just a short stroll to the Vale with all its attractions. With three bedrooms available, it can sleep 6 in total, a generous, fully equiped bathroom and an extra toilet off the laundry, its the perfect house to get together with your friends and family.
The trio are thrilled to share this property with you and hope you choose @109 as the base for your visit to McLaren Vale. Pia, your host, still lives locally, and can be found at many of the local attractions, restaurants and wineries on the weekends! Please flick her an email for information on local events and recommendations for food and wine. Whether it’s visiting the exceptional restaurants, world-class wineries or just putting your feet up, we hope you enjoy your stay.
Indulge yourself in the beautiful fleurieu, enjoying the relaxed country ambience with fine wines and local produce in the area. This house is within walking distance of amazing restaurants, world-class wineries and the local shops and cafes. It is also just a short drive to the beautiful beaches of Maslins and Port Willunga and not far from Goolwa and Victor Harbor. In fact it is the perfect location for a weekend away!
