They put a lot of time in the details and making you feel welcome. I stay at this hostel every time I visit Zanzibar. The location is great because its 2 minutes walk to the beach which is much more calm and relaxed then the beach in Paje. The rooms have air conditioning which is perfect because here it does not cool down in the nights. Breakfast has a bit of everything and very tasty.

The owner's willingness to go above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable is truly commendable. Offering lifts to the beach and restaurants was a fantastic convenience, making exploring the beautiful surroundings effortless. The breakfast served here was a delightful surprise. Fresh fruits galore, alongside a delicious spread, provided a perfect start to each day. It's evident that attention to detail and guest satisfaction are top priorities at East Sandbank. The seaside location was idyllic, allowing me to unwind and enjoy the stunning views. Clean and well-maintained, the apartment provided a comfortable retreat after a day of adventures. I can wholeheartedly recommend East Sandbank Apartment to anyone seeking a tranquil seaside escape with a gracious host. I'm already looking forward to returning to this wonderful place. I highly recommend! What a friendly place to go to and visit. Best in Paje! Manager Miro is fabulous! You can count on him whatever you need anything! We organized a safari in hostel and was fantastic.Very well organized hostel few seconds from the Paje beach. Food is homemade taste delicious. Drinks at the bar are yummy and with fer prices 1-5$ . I will definitely come back again!

Sanaa Hostel is located on the beachfront in Zanzibar City, 400 metres from Stone Town Beach and 500 metres from Peace Memorial Museum. Really nice host. Good, healthy breakfast with vegetables, fresh juice and cardamon coffee. Clean bathroom and AC.

It’s in a prime location, walking distance to the beach and the nightlife. Sarah and her team keep the place clean and are attentive.

Situated in Zanzibar City, 300 metres from Stone Town Beach, Stone Town House offers rooms with air conditioning. This is by far one of the most clean and comfortable backpackers/hostels I've ever stayed at. From the moment you arrive, you are met with friendly faces. The staff are fantastic, attentive, helpful and caring. The rooms are a cool oasis with AC, fans, mosquito nets, black-out privacy curtains, comfortable beds and pillows. The rooms are cleaned daily. A lot of attention to detail with the addition of a little coffee and tea station just outside the room. There's a tuktuk driver on call that can take you where you need to be. Although the location is so central in Stone Town that you can easily walk a few minutes into any direction. The street is quiet and peaceful in comparison with the hustle just a couple 100m away.
