The environment is amazing, the moment I entered I felt super cozy not only because the structure of the rooms and common areas but also the stuff but also the rest of ppl in this hostel were so friendly and nice. I thought I was gonna spend Christmas alone but meeting those people, I felt like home! Like I know since ever.. The island has plenty of beauty, so you definitely need a cozy and nice place to stay. So I definitely recommend it!

Smeštajni objekat Casa Portuguesa - Charming House nudi bazen na otvorenom, vrt, terasu i bar u gradu Ponta Delgada. Everything. The pool and garden area were a dream. So gorgeous, spacious and so green for being in almost in the city center. It’s quite close walking distance to the main area. Near a pretty garden. Parking was always available in front of the hotel. The hot tub in the greenhouse was scenic and nice. The snack and coffee bar, breakfast were nicely stocked. The lounge area was cozy. It felt so welcoming and homey. I felt immediately relaxed being there. The check in process was streamlined, everything clear and convenient so that you basically just pick up the keys when you arrive. The room is set up wonderfully with plenty of places to put your bags, hang clothes, little tables in the right spots. Curtains to black out light. Netflix on tv, comfortable couch. Beautiful furniture. Everyone working there had such a great smile, were warm and seemed genuinely welcoming.

Insanely beautiful terrace with a great view. A variety of breakfasts and delicious hot pastries. For those who work remotely like me, the Internet is very good, I worked from 4 a.m., because of the time zone, and I am conveniently located in the common room. I didn’t bother anyone and everything was quiet and calm I want to write so much! I definitely recommend the hostel!

The breakfast was delicious, and the new facilities were well-maintained and comfortable. Plus, the location was perfect, making it a great choice overall.

Everything was perfect. The hostel is very new and well organised. The whole place is very clean. Rooms are big enough to have plenty of privacy even in the dorm rooms. Breakfast is very good and there is very nice patio garden in the back. Ines (contact person) was very friendly and willing to help. There is not enough good words I can say about this place.
