Situated 300 m from Faro Marina, Casa da Madalena Backpackers backpackers features a rooftop terrace with views over the colourful marina and the historical rooftops and a 24-hour front desk reception... Chill and comfortable, really warm and welcoming staff who greeted me like old friends. Conveniently located, really near the bus station and lots of nearby eateries were open despite the late hour. Bunks were well kitted out with curtains, plug points and a light. Bathrooms worth a special mention - spacious and clean. People in the hostel were respectful and quiet which was much appreciated. I only stayed a night but you could tell they really went the extra mile to provide a cozy atmosphere with books, games and hammocks for the guests.

Offering a terrace and views of the city, Conii Hostel is set in Quarteira's centre, 4 km from Aquashow Water Park. The hostel's building dates back to 1896 and was completely renovated. We enjoyed our stay a lot: the hostel was situated right in the center of the street with a lot of bars and restaurants, so there always was a choice of where to go out for dinner. Also, it was in just 3 min from the beach. The room in the hostel was super clean, spacious and even with AC, every day we could have a room cleaning service. The shared kitchen on the ground floor was nice organised, clean, and there was enough space for everybody there. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

The Boutique Taghostel is located in a charming old building on the main avenue of Lagos directly in front of the marina with stunning sea views. Free WiFi is available. The staff was amazingly helpful. They showed me the whole hostel while checking in, which every hostel should do, as so people would know where the facilities are (in most hostels I stayed in they didn't do that). They gave me recommendations for restaurants where to eat for lunch, brunch, dinner and for coffee and pastries and these recommendations were super good! Probably the best places in the area. They also showed me the places I could and should visit in Lagos, the nice beaches, the walking routes (everything on the map). They also gave me a towel and a locker together with the room key which I found very helpful. Plus the vibe of this hostel is super nice! A vintage vibe that I personally loved! The location is also good, in the centre of Lagos, close to the train station, the marina, but also the beaches and restaurants. You can also leave your things with them when checking out if you want to explore more from the area.

The host is wonderful and very attentive, she keeps the place clean and tidy. To me, this place felt like home away from home. I would stay here again for sure :)

Location seemed far and distant, but upon arrival, the welcome was warm and the activities were great! Close to the fisherman’s trail and satisfying hikes to the beach!
