Set in park-like grounds on the shores of Lake Te Anau, 5 minutes" walk from the town centre, Te Anau Lakefront Backpackers has both mountain and lake views from the majority of the rooms. It’s right next to the lake Te Anau and very close to the town center where you can find grocery stores, food, and shops. It’s such a peaceful hostel and it offers nice outdoor dining area. Loved its chill atmosphere. Would come back if I visit Te Anau again.
