The owners are kind and fun. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is very good too. They were cooking a typical Okinawa dinner when I arrived and generously invited me to join. It was the first home cooked meal I've had in a long time. And sharing it with lovely people warmed my heart and filled my tummy.

The house itself was clean and well equipped. You can get to the beach fast and easily by foot. I wish I would have stayed longer.

They served a beautiful Japanese style breakfast (with a Okinawan twist!) each morning, including a great cup of coffee. Wide range of restaurants and a few grocery stores within walking distance. Several secluded beaches that are fantastic for snorkeling, swimming and tide pooling are within walking distance. Walk to the bus route to Naha/ Kadena area and north island. Taxi coverage in the area. A perfect place for our 5 night stay.
