The public area is also warm and special! Although this town is not a hot spot than nearby,it’s worth to visit here. Highly recommend it!

Yufuin Country Road Youth Hostel er algjörlega reyklaus gististaður með ókeypis WiFi hvarvetna, hverabað fyrir almenning og fjöltyngt starfsfólk. I had a lovely stay! The atmosphere is very nice, the staff are kind and helpful and the food is delicious. The space is very comfortable and feels homely. The walk to see the stars was very fun! It’s a bit of a walk from town, but if you go on the back roads from the lake, it is a beautiful walk with good views of the mountain and some nice Japanese houses. The shuttle bus in the morning was useful and I enjoyed the goodbye song. Thank you!!

The host is a very lovely lady, if you know a little bit of Japanese she gives you nice recommendations. The room was very spacious. It was a bit like going back in time, a very unique experience. Everything was very tidy and clean.
