Very comfy beds, beautiful old wooden building, tasty breakfast, relaxing bar with nice drinks, clean bathrooms, nice common areas Good location, while not being too noisy but close to restaurants It was quiet even though it's a hostel, since everyone kept quiet after 11 and outside there was very little traffic at night

Conveniently situated in the Yufuin Onsen district of Yufu, Yufuin Country Road Youth Hostel is located 49 km from Resonac Dome Oita, 2 km from Kinrinko Lake and 27 km from Beppu Station. I had a lovely stay! The atmosphere is very nice, the staff are kind and helpful and the food is delicious. The space is very comfortable and feels homely. The walk to see the stars was very fun! It’s a bit of a walk from town, but if you go on the back roads from the lake, it is a beautiful walk with good views of the mountain and some nice Japanese houses. The shuttle bus in the morning was useful and I enjoyed the goodbye song. Thank you!!
