Basecamp Wales er et familiedrevet vandrerhjem i Llanllyfni, i udkanten af nationalparken Snowdonia og 30 km fra Pen-Y-Pass og 8,2 km fra stranden på Dinas Dinlle. Really friendly family that owns the place, excellent communal kitchen with loads of space and utensils, big common room with tv/pool table/eating tables etc. Good location with access to loads of walks around Snowdonia.

I liked the vibe of a country hostel with the facilities such as shower- and drying-room. It was very quiet and peaceful during winter and close to hiking trails as well as the train station.

Staff were more than accommodating. Lovely room with lots of light and fresh air. Great well set up kitchen and cute lounge to play board games with a glass of wine.

This is one of the best hostels I have ever been to : the view on mount Snowdon is beautiful, everything is nice and cosy, and the hosts are very thoughtful and welcoming. I highly recommend!

Llety Glyndwr - Bunkhouse ligger i Trawsfynydd, 18 km fra Portmeirion, og har bjergudsigt. Ejendommen ligger omkring 40 km fra Snowdon, 46 km fra Snowdon Mountain Railway og 49 km fra Lake Vyrnwy. Super friendly staff. Nice location. Comfortable for this type of accommodation. I will come back

Base Camp Snowdonia ligger i Betws-y-coed i Clwyd-regionen, 19 km fra Snowdon og 25 km fra Snowdon Mountain Railway. Spotless clean and near. Bathrooms brand new. Everything works well and the staff is super friendly. Parking behind the house for £5 is convenient. Less than 5 min walk to town centre.

Kings ligger i Dolgellau i Snowdonia Nationalpark og har grill og udsigt over bjergene. Der er gratis privat parkering på stedet. Nogle af værelserne har udsigt over floden eller haven. Kings is a self-catering hostel, not a hotel. It was perfect for a large family group that included lots of small children. Communal cooking and washing up worked well, the lounge and books went down a treat, the football table was a success & the grounds, outdoor fire & bbq all proved memorable for the several related families that shared the stay. Dave (owner) provided friendly & discreet support that proved essential during an area-wide power failure.

Placed at the foot of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), the YHA Snowdon Pen-y-Pass is surrounded by stunning Welsh landscape in a rural location, with no mobile phone signal - offering guests a break from... Fantastic location, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast which was well worth the money and great fuel for the hiking! 5 stars!

Private Room at Torrent Walk Bunkhouse ligger i Dolgellau, 40 km fra Portmeirion, og tilbyder indkvartering med have, gratis privat parkering, terrasse og grillfaciliteter. The bunkhouse was everything we needed as a group of lads visiting Dyfi bike park for the wknd. 5min drive into town is perfect for an evening meal, a few pubs and an Indian restaurant to choose from. This is our go to accommodation, our 4th stay to date and won’t be our last. The cottage is a luxury if your happy to splash out :-)
