This accommodation has everything you need. Every detail is thought out and the space is comfortable and spacious. From all the hostels I have been this has to be the best one. I felt at home immediately and the host will do everything to make you feel comfortable and are available anytime. At first, I was hesitant as I am a female solo traveler and the place did not have many reviews, but this is due to the fact it’s a new hostel, and now I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting San Jose. The location is very central, eating spots at walkable distance, supermarket, even a cute book store. Felt very safe here!

Very friendly and helpful staff! The common area is nice and cozy, good kitchen and a simple breakfast (from 5am to 9am) included. It's the ideal hostel for a stop over since it's close to many bus terminals and they are very chill about staying and using the facilities after check-out. I walked to and from the hostel both at 8pm and 10pm and yes it is a bit sketchy, but I didn't feel unsafe. But they also happily help you get a taxi or uber if you prefer that.
