Situated in Manizales, Golden Frog Manizales has a shared lounge, terrace, BBQ facilities, and free WiFi throughout the property. This is really a superb hotel/hostal, one of the very best I've stayed in during my 4 month backpacker adventure. Super clean, great staff, Netflix on a projector in a very comfortable space, a really excellent price. Manizales is clean and safe with lots to do, too. Highly recommended in every way.

Set in Salento, 26 km from Santa Rosa de Cabal, Hostal Familiar Jerico features free WiFi access. Certain units include a seating area to relax in after a busy day. We had such a fantastic time at Hostal Familiar Jerico! It is in an excellent location that is close to Calle Real (the Main Street that leads to the main square) while being far enough to be quiet and feel more residential. Marta was amazing about sharing information with us and outlined in clear, slow Spanish where to eat, how to get places, and even drew us an excellent map for navigating Cocora Valley. We had a wonderful stay and I would love to return sometime in the future. There were many excellent restaurants extremely close by. There was also a nearby birding tours company called Caminando con Aves. It was just down the street and was perfect for a morning birding home! So the location was particularly great for us.

Situated in Salento, 49 km from Ukumari Zoo, Dreamer Cocora features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. The setting is spectacular. Bird watching under a wax palm right outside my room and sipping a delicous coffee was the perfect way to start my day. The staff is extremely helpful and hospitable. They made great recommendations for activities nearby including hikes in the spectacular Cocora Valley and the charming town of Salento. It was great to have a full bar on the property as well as other relaxed guests to hang with.

Set in Salento, 35 km from Pereira's Botanical Garden, Nature Hostel Salento features views of the mountain. The rooms are clean and private and quiet. The location is wonderful. This place is family owned and they make you feel right at home as well as providing maps and travel advice for thing in and around the city. They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.
