Ostello Scudellate MONTE GENEROSO features a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Scudellate. The view of the mountains is wonderful! The hostello is new so, everything is very clean. There are so many beautiful places to walk around or go by bike. Don’t miss the breakfast it was delicious and was prepared with wonderful care. We enjoyed a lot and decided to stay one more night. We totally recomend this experience.

Surrounded by a large garden, Youthhostel Lugano features an outdoor pool with deckchairs and sunshades, as well as children’s playground and volleyball, badminton and table tennis facilities. everything was just execellent. good service and friendly service personnel.

The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. The buffert breakfast was a big plus for us!

Situated in Quinto, 33 km from Devils Bridge, Villaggio di vacanza TCS features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. Location was beautiful and ideal for a stop over. The accommodation was a lovely surprise and our kids loved it too. The food and breakfast were very good too and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Surrounded by a lush garden, the Youth Hostel Locarno is 1.5 km away from the train station and the Lake Maggiore. Excellent breakfast with a very good muesli, tasty bread and cheese. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Situated in Bosco Gurin, Casa di vacanza Giovanibosco is 42 km from Piazza Grande Locarno and features various facilities, such as a shared lounge, a restaurant and a bar. Very clean hostel. Also very quiet. The staff (especially Franco) is very kind-hearted.

Casa Calina has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Carona. Nice and affordable place for those who would like to enjoy the mountain and lake view from a nice yard or common balcony, cook their own food, hang out and potentially meet some people in a cozy common room.

Situated in Contra and with Piazza Grande Locarno reachable within 5.9 km, Casa San Bernardo features a terrace, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a restaurant. Magnificent views from the room and terrace on the top, so friendly and multilanguage staff, excellent breakfast

Set in the historical city centre of Bellinzona, Youth Hostel Bellinzona is just 500 metres from The Three Castles of Bellinzona, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The hostel serves a buffet breakfast. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. You cannot beat the location. The room was clean and actually very modern. I enjoyed being on top floor. The train track is right next to hotel and that’s the only minus for me. It was loud and woke me up all night but that’s not the hostel’s fault. I would definitely return.
