Surrounded by a large garden, Youthhostel Lugano features an outdoor pool with deckchairs and sunshades, as well as children’s playground and volleyball, badminton and table tennis facilities. It was personal. All staff was wonderful and upbeat. Liked the breakfast too.

The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. Traditionell, old but well kept. Location premium for people who love to take the train and shared car mobility!!

Casa Calina has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Carona. The location is a bit remote from the city of Lugano, but the views are wonderful and it's surrounded by nature. The house itself is very cozy, welcoming and well maintained.
