The family-friendly Backpackers Villa in Interlaken, in the heart of the Bernese Oberland, offers simple yet stylish rooms that are individually decorated. Free WiFi is available in all areas of the property. Can I say already that I want to comeback there?! What a wonderful place to stay! Staff is so kind to you, super comfortable beds, bathrooms are clean. There’s a toilet inside the room without shower and for the floor there’s more 2 toilets and 3 showers. They were always super clean and its such a comfortable place to use. It’s well located and the best thing is that you can feel how people care about the place. Breakfast was a plus for me, I was not expecting that (Bread is delicious 🤤). If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Interlaken, thats the place!

The property is 80 metres from the city centre and 21 km from Giessbachfälle. I really appreciated the staff being able to inform me of local sightseeing and the free bus pass! The parking availability was wonderful as well as being walking distance to the Downtown area and more! The children’s playroom and lendable stroller was fabulous! Computer/printer, breakfast, numerous different areas to relax. They really thought of everything!

At the hostel, each room is fitted with a desk and a balcony with a garden view. With a shared bathroom equipped with a shower and a hairdryer, rooms at Walters Hostel Interlaken also offer a mountain view. Guest rooms include a safety deposit box. I loved the location and the small private balcony with flowers. The washroom was very spacious and new 😊

I'm not a extravert person but it was still easy to meet new people because everyone was so nice. Great atmosphere. Lot of young people. Would definetly come back

Highly recommended for solo travelers or family stacation. The hostel was clean, service was good. They have great view in every corner. Beautiful lake, and you can also swim. I loved it!

In winter, a shuttle service to the surrounding ski areas is provided. Free WiFi is available in all areas of the hostel. Staff, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, Internet. All perfect. Spent 7 days there and had a lot of fun. Their restaurant is also great. They made me the best caipirinha I ever had in Europe.
