I stayed almost two weeks at the hostel and I didn't miss anything. The breakfast was great, the room was big enough for six people and always clean and the staff was always nice to me.

It’s like a tropical paradise. The exterior gardens are wonderful. Breakfast is great. The dorms are kept very clean and with good air conditioning. Absolutely gorgeous location. Lovely family of owners who will try their best to accommodate you.

It immediately felt like home, it is a very intimate hostel and the owners are just great hosts. It’s super clean and the common area feels like a living room, the kitchen is perfectly equipped and there is free coffee and if you are lucky snacks. I wouldn’t have left if I didn’t have to! We spent a week here over Christmas and it was really amazing. Maria and Julian were very kind and we loved the room we were in. Although we only speak English, we still felt really welcomed and made some amazing friends here. The shared kitchen is a great bonus so that you can cook your own food too.

The atmosphere is friendly, the team of volunteers available, it's the ideal place to meet new people and discover the beauty of ilha grande !!

Offering practical accommodation in the idyllic Ilha Grande, Biergarten Pousada & Hostel is set 5 km from Lopes Mendes Beach. WiFi access is available throughout. Very clean rooms and common areas. Location was near to the beach, shops, restaurants and tour guides. Shared kitchen was very well stocked with utensils. Great value for money. AC in the room worked very well and the mini fridge in the room was a nice touch.
