Fantastic staff that were so friendly and welcoming. Comfy beds and modern interior throughout. Massive lockers. Lots of events hosted by the hostel and the information pack about Gothenburg was a wonderful addition! Tasty breakfast with a wide selection of food! Would definitely stay here again!

Of course it's a simple hostel, situated in a historic building, yet it's charming, taken care of and with everything you need for a budget stay. Located a bit outside the city center, with a tram stop and shops just around the corner. STF Hostels are always a good option when in Sweden.

The dormitory room also had a lot of floor space which was nice. It’s a bit far from the centre of town but I think that’s actually a good thing, the hostel is in a really nice area so you see more of the ‘real’ Gothenburg, not just the tourist stuff.

Located in a very calm neighbourhood and only a few minutes from the bus stop, the location was more than satisfactory. Additionally, the rooms were clean and with a safety lockers and the kitchen well equipped. Compared to other hostels, this one had a lot of bathrooms and toilets so you did not have to wait to shower. The breakfast was tasty with a wide choice of food. The Hostel also offers the free walking tour and you can buy some souvenirs at the information desk.JúliaSolo traveler

The staff were lovely and helpful, especially Magdalena she was amazing. Super friendly and welcoming and provided us with local information. Breakfast was also very tasty with a good selection. The common area and the kitchen were really quiet. We stayed in a room of 4 people and it was very well isolated of sound. Best hostel I have ever been to! Thank you Backpackers Göteborg!!
