Being on a walking distance so close to the Village of Campo do Gerês and having a Bus stop just outside the hostel is also great.

The staff were extremely helpful. The restaurant was outstanding both for the breakfast and for dinner. The view down the valley is beautiful.

Safe bike storage. Although there wasn't a kitchen, a kettle, microwave, cutlery and pottery were provided in the common room. Vending machines were on site, and bottled beer. I had a twin room booked , but as it was very quiet I should have gone for the cheaper bunk room option. Breakfast was continental, but plenty of it.
