I loved that the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and had curtains for privacy and that there was an adjoining balcony to the room. Also other travellers staying in the room were lovely to talk to. We even went sightseeing together.

Hostel Ambassade Bretonne has an excellent location, being in front of the Vieux-Port the views are wild, having the cathedral right in front of it. The hostel is a bit different than others because there are different floors each being like an apartment, with two rooms with beds, and the common area. Entering and exiting the hostel is easy during late hours. Has a restaurant but i did not try it. My room was really nice, though I guess I cannot say it is everyone’s experience.
