Staff were excellent throughout. Location is great, 5 mins to beach, cafes/bars on doorstep. Very secure, passcode to get in, lockers in rooms. Quiet after 10pm, so a decent night sleep. Showers good, kitchen facilities above expectation, and a huge rooftop to spend evenings out on.

It was within walking distance to the beach ⛱️ and gym and cafes and shopping centre is great with it's 3 floors and many shops ,which havr good quality clothes at various prices ,zara and inside have cheap items, mobile phones are expensive in carrefour compared to ireland. There is a bingo hall near by and a 24 hour shop 5 seconds away ,hairdressers across the Rd and many different options where to eat food and a nice Italian near by if I wanted to eat out ,bought food in the spar shop for my stay for the week which was expensive and other shops near by unless you bought cheaper brands ,compared to where I shop in ireland , the alcohol 🍸 particularly the wine is cheap, and the tropical beer 🍺 is lovely, the tour bus 🚌 is great and affordable ,the other girls I shared my room with were friendly and met a few while I was there for the week ,alot of steps up to the kitchen and garden roof top terrace ,,not much space to put my shopping in the three fridges ,but packet and tin and dry food is convenient,, had my breakfast every morning, the walk along the beach is lovely and the hotels there are situated in a good place for people in wheelchairs or mobility issues, was going to have surf 🏄♀️ lessons but I had the flu so had a glass of whisky the first and second night I arrived and took some pain killers because my neck was sore ,got whip lash in 1995 and was diagnosed with arthritis last year in the left hand side of my neck, but exercises help and creams and a heat patch ,was awake one night cos of my 2 room mates snoring but slept well for the week and would wake during the night to go to the toilet because I'm going through the menopause in the last 3 years 😀, I hope river is OK she was sleeping in the bunk bed above me and she pulled a muscle in her back and couldn't get out of the bed ,and looked to be in alot of pain, I said she could sleep in the bottom bunk cos she nearly fell trying to get out of the top bunk ,overall had a great...

Owner is super sympathetic and welcoming. It’s VERY clean!!! Like, I never been at a hostel this clean before. And people are nice, hangout together and so on. Location in the mid city so walking distance to everything, I walked daily to the biggest beach as well. Would stay here again!
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

This is the best place if you want to meet new people! I had an amazing stay here, surrounded by amazing people, it was easy to feel soon at home! The hostel has everything: an amazing rooftop, an equipped kitchen if you want to cook your food, a laundry, and it's just right next to the beach and to many bars/restaurants. It's also close to the bus station of Santa Catalina, which is very useful if you want to travel across the island. Would definitely stay there again!
Great location, close to the beach, close to grocery stores, close to bus station, clean, safe area
Great coffee shop & churreria on the corner, great kebab place on the corner.
The hostel offers an excellent experience. It has two well-equipped kitchens and a large common area for movie nights, a library, and coworking. The environment is friendly and safe. The view of the beach and the surf spot from the rooftop is spectacular. Located in a pedestrian area, free from car noise. Recommended for a comfortable and peaceful stay. I'll be back!
Great location, just by the beach and only 15min away by foot from the bus station. The hostel has a rooftop which is very nice too. The staff is easygoing and always ready to help you with whatever you need :)
Hostel has great location, two blocks from San Telmo bus terminal, if you are planning explore the whole island, this is it. Buses from/to airport.
Very good equipped kitchen. Bathrooms basic but passable. Room clean, big bunk beds but mattress is very thin so there is no real comfort , very hard. Overall stay fulfilled my expectations though.
Tamaran turned out to be a wonderful place, full of beautiful people and cozy, family-like atmosphere. Thanks to the great location, in few steps you can be not only at the beach, but also find yourself in bars or restaurants that are all around the hostel. It’s a perfect place to meet new people and connect with other travelers through activities that are organized every day :)
I had one of the best hostel experiences in my life. The location was exceptional, 10 meters to beachfront. The hostel was excellently run by the manager. Everything was very clean and super organized. You could reach the manager at any time of the day and he was always very competent in helping you with all your needs. Due to the great effort of the manager and the volunteers, there is a great atmosphere in the hostel. You get to know many new people and cook together in the evening and go out together.
I will come back 100%
The location couldn't be better, it's right at the beach, and I could see the sea from my bunk bed.
The stuff is incredibly helpful and friendly.
This is not a party hostel but the relax atmosphere facilitates meeting people.
