Great location, the staff are great and really willing to help. We didn’t use the kitchen but it seemed to be clean and comfortable. There is a big supermarket and laundry (lavandería) which is comfortable and recommended.

I loved the hospitality with which they treat you, as if you were family. They have dogs and cats and they are adorable! The beds and communal facilities are very good. There are also yoga classes and you can try soaking in an ice bath session 🤪

We stayed at 3 places in Puerto Viejo, and this place was the best of them all. Super-helpful young people working there and a lot of nice other packpackers to chat to. They could recommend a lot of nice things to do, they rent out bicycles and also arrange trips and shuttle to other places. If I go back, I will definitely stay here again.
