The location was great and the Hostel was great value. The staff were super attentive including Sandra the owner. I had a great massage while there as well as Salsa lessons. I was also given great suggestions for things to do which made my stay as a solo traveller really good. Definitely felt like part of the family.

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Loved having my own personal space with a kitchen. The price was nearly as cheap as a bed in a hostel dormitory. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a place which feels like your own. San Antonio is a good area with many salsa studios around
I spent two nights in a 4 bed female dormitory. It was clean and spacious. The fan worked well. The hostel has many floors with different areas to chill and good internet connection. There were many other travelers to hangout with and make activities together. The neighborhood is calm, friendly and nearby there are some local cheap “menús del día”. The bus stop for MIO it’s also very near.
This hostel was one of my favourites so far in South America, Monica and Pedro were so friendly and helpful and made me feel completely at home.
The hostel has various shares spaces including a roof terrace so it's good for meeting people of just relaxing by yourself or whatever you feel like.
The location is great too, it's in a quiet and safe neighbourhood (although you always need to take care in Cali), about a 5 minute walk from lots of places to eat and drink and about a 10 or 15 mins walk from San Antonio.
Very safe area, great location to walk everywhere and close to restaurants. Hostel was very cool, with nice murals and decoration, holding private dance classes in their lobby / dance space. Staff was excellent, very friendly helping you with anything you need. Stylish restaurant above the hostel and, of course, comfortable rooms with fan.
La clave hostel is all about Monica the host. She is the best host I have met in my backpackers life. Always smiling, helpful, and available at all time even in the night to open the door to party people. She prepare a very good breakfast till 12 and she is a shining beautiful heart. The hostel is also very nice with nice rooftop, kitchen it’s very clean and in a very safe and good neighbourhood. You have to go there just meet monica and enjoy a beer on the rooftop.
Very friendly and professional stuff, very clean (the rooms got cleaned every day), good and cheap breakfast, they offer free salsa lessons and night activities, but it's not a party hostel. The atmosphere was always very chilled. For us, it was the best hostel we stayed so far during our trip in Colombia.
Very social hostel with great staff who encourage guests to join in activities. Long happy hour at the bar. Privacy curtains on the beds are a plus. Great location in what felt like a safe area. Good quality food served but decent size kitchen to cook for yourself. Nice, clean pool.
It's the best hostel you can stay in Cali. Great location, super cheap, very clean, good Wi-Fi, hot shower, very familiar vibe where is easy to meet people, free dance classes almost every day of the week.
