Somewhere To Stay Backpackers, hotel in Brisbane

Set in Brisbane, 1.1 km from Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, Somewhere To Stay Backpackers offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, private parking, a garden and a shared lounge.

Lovely city views outside the window beside my upper bunk bed in the 8-mixed dorm on the second floor. Close to convenient stores, Coles, Aldi, Southbank parklands, bus stops and train stations. It's a big place with a table tennis table, a swimming pool, a clothesline, a kitchen and many outdoor chairs and tables. The backpackers provided many free festival activities including Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas BBQ. Amazing hospitality.

Love love love YHA Brisbane. I always stay here whenever I'm in the city. Very clean, safe and not crowded/loud. Facilities and amenities are very good and always clean. The staff are awesome. Great location and absolutely priceless view of the city from the roof top. They have a rooftop bar as well and the cafe at reception does a great coffee. Best Hostel in Brisbane.

Great location within the city. Coles is less than a 5 minute walk away and only a 15 minute walk to the city centre. Property is always cleaned as there is cleaners around daily. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The hostel host an activity every night as ranging from free food to free entertainment which is great to see as a backpacker. Would absolutely recommend to anyone, I initially booked for 2 weeks and extended my stay by another month. Great experience overall

great location in fortitude valley. very smart for a hostel. the hostel has its own bar / club with cheap drinks. a free drink was on offer at 8pm which was a good opportunity to meet other travellers. very friendly staff from the front desk to bar to security. despite all this we had no trouble sleeping, no noise issues, etc. although that could be due to the placement of the room we had. my friend and I had a twin ensuite room which was comfortable and clean.

Wow what a hostel! I’ve experienced many hostels in my time but nothing compares to BQ. The design was more like a boutique hotel. The bathrooms were super modern and the bunk beds were spacious, comfortable and private. The free breakfast was a bonus and the staff were super friendly. 100% recommend to anyone looking to stay in Brisbane on a budget. Thank you for a fantastic stay BQ!
