Loved the rustic vibe of the homestay. The food was fresh and delicious. The homestay members were extremely helpful and accommodating, all the while ensuring that we were having a good time. They were so thoughtful to pack us a hearty breakfast with fresh mangoes right from their garden because we had to checkout quite early. The tour arranged by them to experience the local market, handicrafts, and fruit garden was truly a pleasure. Sau who was our local guide is a wonderful woman. Nhi and Nhan were wonderful hosts who helped us navigate through the unknowns and were always just a chat away for any help requested. I would highly recommend staying in this homestay and experiencing the local scenes in a cycle.

Located in Chợ Gạo in the Tien Giang region, Khách sạn SAKÊ Tiền Giang provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The property features garden and quiet street views. Great room for that cheap price! Also very polite and helpful host. Nice location. You can easily reach the ocean, the Mekong or cities like Cho Gao, My Tho and Ben Tre from there. Street food only few metres away.

Located in Cai Be, 31 km from Vinh Long Museum, Ba Duc Ancient House provides air-conditioned rooms and a garden. why not if you need to stay in Cai Be but the price (1 300 000DNG, yes you read that right) is really exaggerated. We paid 300 000DNG for better places. Important to note : you do not sleep in the ancient house but in a newer, random building. It’s clean and room is big enough. But it misses a proper glassed window, and charm. Also we arrived not so late (8 o’clock) and it was already closed. Our taxi driver had to call them as they are not on what’s app. Finally, the area is a bit to industrial so not necessarily a pleasure to wander around… the hosts were also not particularly keen on providing information. Food was okay but was served in very big quantities, which was not necessary…
