AMAZING for solo travelers, memories-collectors, open minded and young spirit people. That place offers everything what you need like a backpacker - good facilities, free laundery, amazing staff and the cheap and affordable price. We also went for a dolphin tour for really good price (people on our boat paid 2 times more. If I return to Zanzibar on day, it will be because of that place. Thank you!

The property is beautiful! The location was great, a short walk to the main busy beach but far away enough to have some peace and quiet. I cannot rave enough about the staff. They were so kind and accommodating.

I have visited Zanzibar before and stayed at a few hotels (large and small) and this is by far my favorite hotel, my kids and I did not want to leave. It was a hidden gem! The staff were very friendly, the owners were always available and very sweet and kind, the food was the best in Zanzibar. It’s a very quiet and lovely getaway. The beach felt like a private beach away from the overbearing Masai and tourists. The hotel was very cozy, authentic and unique. The rooms were spacious, the balcony was stunning and watching the sunrise every day was beautiful, AC was working perfectly, rooms was always clean and they clean twice a day. If you want to relax.. this is the place to stay! The owners and staff quickly became our family. Thank you for the most beautiful stay, we will be back again! Located within 400 metres of Nungwi Beach and 2.1 km of Royal Beach, Jawda Star provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Nungwi. Located in a quiet area, walking distance to the beach. Beautiful rooms, well maintained and clean. The manager was very welcoming. He also escorted us to the closed beach access. The breakfast was very delicious with a large plate of fresh fruits. We really enjoyed our stay!

Everything you need: big room, comfortable bad. WiFi, air condition an very good breakfast. What else you need. VIKTOR, very nice personel and wonderfull house keeper. I extend my visit becouse my stay was so relaxing. Thanks. I ll be back!

Set just 200 metres from Jambiani Beach, Gecko House offers accommodation in Jambiani with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. The accommodation is 200 m away from the beach and numerous restaurants and beach bars. Trevor was an amazing host and took his time to show me around Zanzibar and teach me some of the local lingo. I really enjoyed my stay at Gecko house.
