You can see the Domkyrka bell tower from the bedroom window and it’s a short walk to the harbour and windmill (well worth a tour—it’s free and the guides are fantastic). Henrik and Isa have thought of every comfort and are incredibly obliging hosts. The bed is possibly the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Strängnäs itself is adorable. Its location on Mälaren makes for a beautiful outlook, there are cafes, restaurants and boutiques. There are shops, pubs and swimming spots. The train takes you to Stockholm in less than an hour and it’s not too far to Mariefred and Gripsholms Slott. I mean, what’s not to love? Henrik and Isa have good recommendations to suit your needs. You should stay here!

The place itself was in a good place, near to the metro station. The center with the metro is 15 minutes. I recommend it to everyone, it was absoutely a pleasure to stay here!

So much space with 2 bedrooms and a very large comfortable living area. Anita was the perfect host, very friendly, helpful and even produced some toys for our daughter!
