Located in Ponta Delgada, 8.5 km from Pico do Carvao, Vila Rosario provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Fairly new exceptionally clean apartment style villa. The owner was more than helpful answering questions and providing for our needs such as an early breakfast and information on restaurants. The room had adequate kitchen equipment to allow you to make easy meals. A large grocery store is a short distance away. The kitchen had a few basic herbs and spices that you could use. It was very quiet with a secure locked entrance after 5:00 that each guest had a remote to be able to enter.

Daniel is a great and very helpful host who goes above and beyond to assist you with all questions you may have - very responsive during the whole stay and super friendly. The place is exactly as the pictures show it - a beautiful old house with a spirit, huge shared bathroom with very good water pressure, new air conditioner in the room that works very well. I found the location excellent - just opposite the house there's a laundry self service, and a great pizza place. In the place there's also a shared kitchen with everything you may need. WIfi worked very well for me as well. 10 out of 10 and will definitely choose that place if I return to PDL some day! Obrigada!

CITY STONE HOUSE in Ponta Delgada provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. We stayed for 2 nights at City Stonehouse in a room on the 2nd floor and loved it. The room is airy (high ceilings, big windows), spacious with wooden floors and very clean. The en-suite bathroom was extremely clean and very well equipped (multiple towels were offered to use but it was stored in a way that one could also save towels, refill soaps, hair dryer etc). The room itself was beautifully furnished - nice bedding, arm chair, hangers etc. and offered some refreshments and snacks :). Downstairs was an extremely well equipped kitchen with everything one needs to cook a delicious meal. Indoor as well as outdoor seating areas were inviting. The ground floor offers a living room with plenty of information about the island and tour possibilities. Luggage storage on our departure day was no problem at all. Check-In was as easy as it gets. The location is great - easy to reach from the airport, walking distance to the center, marina, parks, restaurants and shops. There are several car and scooter rentals close by. The biggest benefit of this accommodation is the wonderful host who spoils his guests by providing lots of information, answers all possible questions, sends out recommendations and makes sure one feels 100% relaxed on vacation. Arrivillage, a property with a garden, is situated in Arrifes, 7.6 km from Pico do Carvao, 19 km from Sete Cidades Lagoon, as well as 20 km from Lagoa Verde. Room is nice, very clean and quiet. Shared and fully-equipped kitchen is a great addition. But the best is José, the host - he is so caring, friendly and available, and gave us the best tips about the island. No matter what we needed, he made sure we had it. The house is fairly close to the airport and Ponta Delgada. Would 100% recommend a stay at Jose’s guesthouse.

Offering pool with a view and sea view, Thalassa Villas is situated in Ponta Delgada, less than 1 km from São Roque Beach and a 15-minute walk from Milicias Beach. We stayed in the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apt in the first floor. The location is magnificent! Right on ocean with your own pool! About a 2mi walk into Ponta Delgada and about 1 mi walk to small store in other direction. Everything was very clean and property owners were super responsive and kind.

Located in Povoação and only 2.4 km from Morro Beach, Casa da Lomba do Cavaleiro provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Rodrigo was a great host and his place is an amazing spot overlooking the ocean. Very peaceful stay in the eastern part of Sao Miguel. My room had an amazing view of the ocean. Highly recommended.
