We were treated like royalty, and Isaac spent a lot of time with us teaching us about the Uros, their history and their culture. The accommodations were outstanding as well as their personalized service.

Situated 2.2 km from Estadio Enrique Torres Belon, 1.8 km from Puno Port and 1.7 km from Bahia de los Incas Boardwalk, casa SKALA provides accommodation located in Puno. The room and the bathroom in such a good shape and new condition! Super clean and most importantly very nice and hot shower(had to wait few mins tho until it warms up). You might think you are far away from the central but there is a minivan that cost 1 soles takes you straight to central part within less than 10 mins and it comes so frequently that you will never have to wait! Big plus for letting us stay without a problem in the place for the whole full day (as we had to get the bus at night to Cusco). Very quiet location!

Featuring a bar, Posada de Oliver features accommodation in Llachon. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. This was a perfect stay. Oliver, Sebastiana and their children are a lovely family who you instantly feel at home with. The room we had was spacious, private and had a beautiful view of the lake. Hot water and WiFi worked amazingly for the area and the food provided (for an extra cost, but really good value), was very tasty and varied. There are a few walks to do in the area to keep you busy, and Oliver can also take you out on his boat to some of the local islands and to see the trout farm he runs (again, for an extra fee but for what you get, we thought it was really good value for money. You have to remember you have the boat completely to yourselves and there were no other tourists on the floating island we visited, making the experience very authentic). There's a really nice outdoor seating to enjoy the sun and view. Getting there is also very easy with collectivos going regularly from Puno and Juliaca for next to nothing. Offering a garden and garden view, Uros Titicaca Khantaniwa Lodge is located in Puno, 5.9 km from Puno Port and 6 km from Bahia de los Incas Boardwalk. A very comfortable lodge with very good view on the floating island of Lake Titicaca. The owner Henry is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Set in Puno, near Bus Station and San Antonio Church, MADA Guest House Puno "Hospedaje" is a recently renovated property, featuring, a terrace and shared lounge. Great place to explore Puno. Quiet alley entrance with a very friendly staff. You should get the keypad code before arrival especially during the off season or you may have to wait a little. It's about 15 min. To plaza major but lots of cheap food options nearby. Local market 1 block away. Good food there.

With pool views, Uros Lodge Lover Titiqaqa is located in Puno and has a restaurant, free shuttle service, bar and garden. The whole family was super nice and helpful. They pick you up/drop you at the port, offer their own tours around the Uros and help organise tours to the other islands. Different options for meals (including vegetarian), quite good and at a good price. Hot beverages for free. Plenty of blankets to cope with the cold at night.
