Featuring a garden and views of lake, BALTĀ māja is a recently renovated guest house located in Aglona, less than 1 km from Aglona Basilica. With garden views, this accommodation provides a patio. Loved the creative elements in the room. Liked that everything was super clean and the garden was well taken care of. As this place has opened just recently, I hope it maintains the level of service for a long time. We stayed just for a night, but would have loved to stay more to enjoy the peacefulness of the place.

Both were beautiful and well appointed. The rooms are above the museum in a renovated old building.There is also a clean and modern shared kitchen with a washing machine that guest can use without additional charge.

The house did have everything that we needed for our stay. We also saw multiple herons flying near to our shore. The lake itself offers a lot. Thanks a lot for this nice experience!
