Hosts are the kindest people. They do everything to make your stay agreable. The owner organised my safari and dropped me off at the bus stand yo continue my travels. Highly recommend this place.

Located within less than 1 km of Tissa Wewa and 25 km of Bundala Bird Sanctuary in Tissamaharama, Tissa Rainbow Guest & Yala provides accommodation with seating area. Best place. Host is so kind thar he will take great care of each and everything. Room was so nice and clean with chilled AC and fan. Host picked me up from bus stop which is extremely helpful because it was raining and there were no tuk tuk there. I had to go to Ella later, host provided best guidance how to get direct bus. Host took me on his car to bus stop. Bus stop was quite far. Host ensures I boarded bus safely and then he left. Best host I had ever.

21 km from Situlpawwa, Mailagama Cinnamon Residence is a recently renovated property set in Kataragama and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The people make the place even better. I would love to go back again and stay more nights. You can also buy cinnamon sticks, black pepper etc… direct from their farm… so it’s cheap.

Offering a garden and garden view, Lake Front Yala Safari is located in Kataragama, 18 km from Tissa Wewa and 18 km from Situlpawwa. My hosts couldn’t have made me feel any more welcome. They are kind and generous. As a single female traveller I felt very secure in their compound. I strongly advice you book your safari with your host. He’s a confident driver with a keen eye for leopards. Don’t think saving money will serve you well, take a private tour. The guest house is situated close to the park and near to the road the dissects the park. Take an evening safari on the road if you can. The accommodation is very clean. I found it hard to leave these lovely people.

Wonderful cozy place to stay. The owner is so helpful and friendly. Best recommendations for safari guide and lake tour! Dinner was delicious. Everything was great. We had stay in few places during out trip in Sri Lanka, this is the best. Thank you.

Boasting lake views, Lake Face Cabana offers accommodation with terrace, around 4.5 km from Tissa Wewa. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. I really loved the location, it had an excellent view of the lake and it is a great family run business. We had dinner at the cabana and it was delicious.

Located just 2.1 km from Kirinda Beach, Suduweli Beauties of Nature - Yala provides accommodation in Kirinda with access to free bikes, a garden, as well as a 24-hour front desk. - very nice garden to relax - organised all requests - lovely owners - it is possible to eat dinner and lunch - good safari for a fair price (cheaper than usual)

Featuring garden views, V Cabanas & Yala Safari Place features accommodation with patio, around 2.6 km from Tissa Wewa. I have had an amazing stay at V Cabanas! The room was very spacious, clean and a great shower with hot water:) Also the view from the terrace over the rice fields was so good! The food was excellent, both breakfast and curry were one of the best I had in Sri Lanka! Lastly, the host family was just amazing. They welcomed me with some tea and were very helpful and kind surfing my stay. They took me to see the Fruit bats view point, lent me a bike, and dropped me at the busstation when I left. One of my best stays so far, so highly recommend!

Owner was extremely helpful and made our stay more pleasurable because of his helpfulness and kindness. Breakfast provided was excellent. Plenty of food. Rooms were really well thought out and extremely comfy. Made for a very relaxing stay. Owner organised a very reasonable taxi for our onward journey to Ella.
