Facing the seafront in Delft East, Delft Village Stay has free bikes and a garden. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also welcomes guests with a restaurant and a sun terrace. This was my favourite stay in all of my time in Sri Lanka. First of all the hospitality, friendliness, and helpfulness of the host, Tommy was incredible. From the moment of booking, Tommy provided information about getting to Delft Island, the village stay, and what to see on Delft Island which was very useful. Once there nothing was too much to ask of him, such as organizing a tuk-tuk around the island with a reliable driver. The tent accommodation was really comfortable and it was lovely hearing the heavy rain on the thatch above the tent at night and staying completely dry. Meals available on request were INCREDIBLE, very generous and well-priced. There were communal spaces to share with other guests and also individual spaces as well. It takes a bit of effort to get to Delft so to be able to find such a wonderful place to stay really made the effort even more worthwhile. Thank you, Tommy and staff for such a great stay

Allens home stay, a property with a terrace, is set in Jaffna, 1.7 km from Jaffna Railway Station, 2.6 km from Jaffna Public Library, as well as 3.1 km from Jaffna Fort. We have spent 4 days here, and this place felt like home. Nice and confy room, AC working great, hot shower, the best Wifi in our time in Sri Lanka. Delicious homemade breakfast. Beatiful garden. Super clean. But the best is the host: Allen is just amazing! He was very kind, thoughful, gave all the tips and information, and we still got the chance to talk, share a bit of our experiences. Thank you for everything, Allen!

Sunflowers Canada House, a property with a garden, is located in Jaffna, 3.1 km from Jaffna Public Library, 3.5 km from Jaffna Fort, as well as 3.6 km from Nallur Kandaswamy Temple. The young couple hosts were so friendly and helpful. They invited us to the Hindu festival which was amazing experience. The house is beautiful and very spacious and clean. The living areas are shared but with no one else booked in we enjoyed it alone. Very good air conditioned living area and great kitchen with all you need. Would definitely stay here again.

Set just 100 metres from Jaffna Railway Station, Flamingo Villa offers accommodation in Jaffna with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as luggage storage space. Excellent customer service. The only property is a 5 minute walk to the Jaffna railway station. This was very convenient for me as I was taking an early morning train. The staff were very nice and did everything to make my stay comfortable. I’ll definitely be back

D'Villa Garden House has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Jaffna, 2.8 km from Nallur Kandaswamy Temple. Raj’s place is an excellent base for a few days in Jaffna. Raj is an outstanding host—very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The rooms are simple, clean, and have great air conditioning. They also include a hot shower with excellent water pressure. The location is a five-minute walk to a few local restaurants or about a 25-minute walk (or a short drive) to Jaffna town. The place is a lovely, relaxing, and peaceful spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast is available for an additional 900 LKR per person. The breakfast is excellent—a very generous spread of authentic cuisine that changes daily. We thoroughly enjoyed Raj’s hospitality and would definitely return if we’re in Jaffna again.

Nallur Holidays Inn in Jaffna provides adults-only accommodation with an open-air bath and a shared lounge. This guest house features free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. The staff was really friendly, the lady working there helped us with everything and was very considerate. There are a lot of sitting areas where I could study and not be bothered by the noise from the city. We ended up staying longer than our booking and this was not a problem.
