But the best part was booking a day trip with Sarom (host) to visit Battambang and its countryside, learn about the Khmer culture and the genocide, taste some local specialties. Situated 2.3 km from Battambang Museum, Primprey Second Home offers accommodation with a terrace, as well as a garden. Had a lovely stay at Primprey Second Home! The rooms were super clean, and the bathroom had a cool half-open design with a roof, so it stayed dry even when it rained. The garden was massive, full of flowers and fruit trees (home grown pomelo fruit was a delight), which made it feel so relaxing. Primprey was such a helpful host, showing us around and making sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was really tasty, and it was great to have bikes available for rent. Would definitely recommend it for a chilled and enjoyable stay!

Much better than other guides in the city. Happy to find my joy back during my stay at this guesthouse. They also pick you up from the bus station, and if you ask Harry he can organise a Tuktuk to bring you to the bus station at the end of your stay.

Located 1.7 km from Colonial Buildings, Bun Homestay offers accommodation with a terrace. Bun is the best person. Picks you up, good breakfast, great tour, close to town. Loved my stay. Loved how you get to see Cambodian family life.

Set just 5 km from Battambang Museum, Battambang Eco Stay features accommodation in Battambang with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. I stayed here for two nights and had a really good time. The place is very nice to hang out. I spent a lot of time with Pisey, the host. She’s the most lovely person. She took me to the local market one morning and we went for nice walks in the rice fields around. She made me feel at home and did everything to make me enjoy my stay as much as possible and was happy to tell me some stories of her life. Exceptional! I would definitely come back :)
