By far the most spacious and luxurious room I have stayed at in Indonesia so far. A really peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. And a good restaurant just a couple of minutes walk away. Outstanding value for money.

Situated in Karimunjawa and only a few steps from Legon Lele Beach, Floating Paradise features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Amazing location & fantastic service☺️Regarding the location, it’s built over the sea, just next to a mangrove area 🌊You can jump into the water from the property and snorkel there. They have goggles and snorkels free of charge. The water was clear even during rainy season. We saw many corals, giant clams and even some clownfish. They have kayaks for free of charge as well. We kayaked to Pantai Kanjen, where you can release baby turtles. In the morning, we saw the beautiful sunrise from our window and could hear the sound of the water below our bed. Regarding the service, the owners (Astrid and Tono) were very helpful even before our arrival. They messaged me and offered help to organize boat tickets, scooter rental and other transportation at very reasonable prices. After arrival, the host called Ben took very good care of us, he was very friendly, helpful and fun to chat with. At night he even showed us the bio-luminescent plankton which were visible from the deck. He definitely went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience! No AC, but it was a comfortable stay with a big ceiling fan. No hot shower, but it was not a big issue for us. Overall we are very satisfied with our stay. Definitely wanna come back!

That it is right in the middle of rice-fields. One may stay here just to relax and live /relive a relaxed village life. The homestay is gorgeous with Buddha statues and other statues, cobbled paths. Sit on the benches and see an old man guiding his flock of very disciplined ducks from the fields to back home; small boys flying kites; wake up to the sound of birds and go to sleep to the sound of either frogs/ lizards(could not make out what was it😄). Cycle the nearby villages with green fields on either side; locals cheerfully wishing you; you can cycle to Borobodur too / walk to the placs. cycles are provided by Rumah Dharma. They also arrange tickets for you for Borobodur. Do remember climbing the temple is not open on Mondays. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms even more spacious. The staff is very welcoming. You enjoy local food. They arranged a very good driver/car for airport pickup/dropoff; visit to Prambanan and Mount Merapi. What I also enjoyed is unlike hotels, all the guests were sitting in the open areas, playing board games, chatting with other guests. We absolutely loved our stay here. A warm shoutout to the staff who were excellent!

Foods are great, with lots of options to choose from, and the portion is super generous. FANTASTIC breakfast! Feels like a queen on a mini banquet. The villa looks very lovely, got a feel of staying in Central Java's traditional house. It is also very comfortable inside, with modern amenities. The AC is cold, helps to cool down if there is any heatwave. Love the shower with the plants and stone wall too. Swimming pool is clean and has a nice size. There are activities to choose from, arranged by the resort. They can also arrange transport to the city center or airport. Staffs are super helpful and knowledgeable. All and all good value for money. Great place to unwind. Resort is beautifully designed.

Featuring garden views, Efata Homestay offers accommodation with terrace, around 1.3 km from Borobudur Temple. There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. Efata Homestay is located very close to the entrance of Borobudur. The house is in the busy area but very quiet inside. There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby. It's both safe and convenient. The hosts are a couple called Ika and Yani. They are so kind, friendly and considerate. Before I arrived, they had already sent me some basic information via messages. For example, they told me how to get to the homestay from the airport and reminded me to book my Borobudur ticket earlier. There is a very beautiful and comfortable garden here. The room is clean. Wifi is fast and stable. I extended my stay here for a total of 5 days because I enjoy my time here. The delicious local breakfast prepared by Yani is something I look forward to every day. I feel like I am at home and they are my family:)

This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi.... It is a place that I would recommend to my friends and family. I stayed in a 3 bedrooms villa and it was fantastic . You need to be there to experience it.
