This is a wonderful adults only bed and breakfast. The accommodations were so comfortable: the bed, the quiet, the outdoor garden with lots of spots to nap and read. The swimming pool was divine after all day of biking the island. Bikes were available both electric and regular. La Couarde is a good midway point for daily biking on safe bike routes. Florence and Rémy were the BEST hosts: inviting, helpful with daily excursion suggestions that we followed. We felt so welcomed.

The place was cosy and clean, the room was spacious and had everything you need. I totally loved the big window facing the terrace and the dressing table.

La Martinoise Patio terletak di Saint-Martin-de-Ré, 26km dari Stesen Keretapi La Rochelle dan 27km dari L'Espace Encan. The breakfast was plentiful with fresh pastries,bread ,jams and yoghurts.We ate breakfast at Martinoise Garden but stayed in Martinoise Patio just a short walk away.

Everything was modern, clean, and private/quiet. The breakfast was divine and the hosts are very sweet helpful with local tips. The rooms are quite separate so you still have a lot of privacy during your stay. Their dog Ganesh was also a highlight of the property! There are markets on most days, only a 2 min walk away, which we went to a couple of times for food and browsing.
