Datong Yunzhong Traditional Courtyard er staðsett í forna bænum Datong, í 5 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Huayan-hofinu og Níu drekaveggnum. Location was the best, the hotel is renovated is extremely clean, you feel welcomed like home! Definitely recommend for visiting Datong. Staff speaks English and is very friendly and helpful!

Hongyuyuan Family Guesthouse er staðsett í Pingyao, 200 metra frá Ming og Qing-stræti. Gististaðurinn er með veitingastað og ókeypis WiFi. Very charming room and courtyard right on the main road by the South Gate. The location cannot be beaten. The family room (2 double beds) is charming and the courtyard is a typical traditional court with the red lanterns. Staff was extremely friendly, they explained everything and let us keep the room until 3pm at no extra charge.

It already looked pretty from the photos on the website, but it was somehow even more amazing in real life! The room was also very nice, and the location was great.

Beautiful accommodation at the centre of ancient city of Pingyao in the bustling South Street. The owner and staff are very friendly, warm and helpful. They picked us up from the station and brought us to Ancient City (cars are not allowed inside) and also brought us on the day of departure, both for very reasonable fees, because we were with 5, too many for a taxi. The hotel and rooms were in a traditional style, allowing for great pictures.The beds and cushions were very comfortable for us. The bathroom and toilet are combined in a small room, but it wasn't bothersome.The owner knows the nearby shops and good spots to go to, definitely ask for tips. We enjoyed our 2 nights and 3 days in Pingyao a lot, definitely recommended.

Pingyao Jintaisheng Hotel er til húsa í 400 ára gömlum húsgarði sem var áður eina hveitiverksmiðjan í fornborginni Pingyao, sem er á heimsminjaskrá UNESCO, við enda Qingættarinnar. The hotel is very scenic--more than we hoped for--clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was kind and helpful, the hotel manager tried their best to help us. We highly recommend this hotel.
