Hello, everyone! There has been a misunderstanding from the beginning. We booked two bedrooms for three people. When we checked in it was clear that we only had one room and one bed. We were after a long drive and it was very frustrating and we were very disappointed, not to mention stressed. We had quite a long discussion with the landlady about how this came about and what we should do now. She suggested to prepare another bedroom and as a result the difficult situation was resolved. For which we thank her very much! The rooms were a bit stuffy, and the one facing the street with a window was also very noisy, as cars were constantly driving along the road. The linen was clean and there were guest towels for three people. We had a shower room between two rooms with warm water and a toilet. The bathroom was clean and had guest soap lying around. As for the overall cleanliness of the apartment, I thought it was a little dirty overall, so that may be a wish for the host for the future. The internet was working stably. The host provided a key to the garage at the end of the building in the inner parking lot where we were able to park our car for free. I could recommend this host if he would improve the communication and cleanliness of the apartment a bit.

    This was a lovely hostel/hotel. We had a good sized family room and they very kindly gave us a lovely cot free of charge. Location was great and the breakfast was really excellent and very good value, especially for Stockholm!

    With gorgeous art works decorating this old-world historic building, we felt like we were staying in a private home rather than a hotel. The reception staff were extremely welcoming and polite and the breakfast included in our stay was varied and delicious. We loved the location of this charming hotel; walking distance from the station (even in the snow!) and close to the royal place and all the wonderful shops and restaurants in Gamla Stan.
