We spent one night at the Kronocamping, so we could reach the Läckö castle from there the next day, and it was the best choise. The small house was clean, cozy, the lake is near, lots of trees and green areas nearby. The center is a bit far, 20-30 mins walk, but there is a bus stop in front of the camping.

As Americans spending our first night in Sweden we were having trouble contacting relatives in Norway. The staff was able to provide the needed help. This looks like a great place for families.

Lagunen Cottages and Hostel is located by the Skagerrak Sea, 4 km from Strömstad town centre. It offers free WiFi and two sandy beaches. On-site private parking is free. Nice location and cheapest accommodation from the market for the excellent conditions!

We didn't have contact with the staff because we came late at night and left early in the morning, and we didn't eat breakfast, so we can't evaluate the staff. The house was clean and had everything necessary for a stay. The weekend resort is beautifully designed and in nature where we saw a doe in the morning. There were bunk beds in our house and we put the bedclothes ourselves.

It reminded me of wolly world from chase vacation movies. the people there are very friendly.
