Asuka no yado-明日香の宿- ligger i Asuka, bara 26 km från Nara station, och erbjuder boende med gratis cyklar, en trädgård, en terrass och gratis WiFi. It's spotless clean and everything so well organized. We rent the car going there and it's very easy to locate, and parking is convenient, just in front of the property. Not sure about the public transportation though if we don't have the car. We enjoyed our stay a lot and will come back again.

HAT byakugoji, Japanese traditional fireplace HAT白毫寺 自然豊富な別荘地にある囲炉裏付き一軒家 ligger i Nara och har ett bubbelbad. The host Ayaka was very hospitable! She arranged to meet us at a nearby supermarket to buy ingredients to cook on the traditional fireplace and then led the way to the property which is located in the primeval forest of Nara. She then showed us how to start the charcoal fire for grill and hotpot. The futon beds were very comfortable, perfect for a good rest after a sumptuous meal around the fireplace, and a good soak in the tub.

貸切宿 さつき別邸 ligger 28 km från Subaru Hall och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. Private accommodation with character that is clean and spacious. Check in was seamless with the help of the manager living next door. Plenty of kitchen utensils to make coffee and breakfast. Car park is right in front of the accommodation. Supermarket, Convenient store, Onsen spa was all in walking distance. Highly recommend for people visiting Yoshino, Kumano region.

Guesthouse Kaede Annex erbjuder gratis cyklar och ligger i Nara, 18 km från Iwafune Shrine, 21 km från Ocean Park station och 22 km från Nippon Christ Kyodan Shijonawate Church. Fabulous apartment. Modern, super clean and spacious. It was great to have three bedrooms, all having comfortable beds and a heat pump in each room. Very well equipped kitchen, including extra condiments which was much appreciated. Great shower and two toilets was a bonus. A few minutes walk from Nara station, which has a supermarket, restaurants and a chemist on the lower level. Only 5 minutes walk to the main tourist shopping street that leads up to Nara park. About 30 minutes walk to Nara Park. Being close to the railway line didn't bother any of us, we all slept very well. Would definitely stay there again.

Mr and Mrs Kuki were so incredibly kind as hosts - meeting us at the station, taking us on little tour of Nara and ensuring we understood everything within the house. The house itself was stunning - super clean, had everything we needed, comfy beds and the tatami room downstairs were perfect for relaxing. Having washer-dryer was hugely convenient too. Location perfect for walking everywhere in Nara - and they left so many ideas/suggestions/maps it was just a wonderful stay and we hope to return one day, thank you both so much!

Clean and comfortable with free use of its facilities. The host is accommodating and even provides recommendations on food around the area. He speaks good English, so communication is easy. As we are unable to reserve a slot at the strawberry farm over the phone, he did so willingly despite being outstation in Tokyo. We had a good stay in this peaceful and lovely house.
