The house was conveniently located near some tavernas and coffee shops and it had an amazing view of Metsovo across the mountain. The house we rented was a two-story house with two large beds and a bathroom on the ground floor and a living room and kitchen on the first floor. The decoration was very rustic which we liked, and everything was super clean. A bigger bathroom would have been super, but we managed nonetheless. We liked the fact that there's a full kitchen and a washing machine, which would allow for a longer stay than the one we had. We also liked the communal garden in front of the establishment and the fact that it was easy to reach the house, although parking was a bit difficult.

Set in Metsovo, 20 km from Pigon lake and 34 km from Monastery of Voutsa, la foret offers air conditioning. Everything about the place is excellent, the location is perfect, easy check in. The apartment is spotless and even more impressive from what we saw in the photos. Our host was really helpful with instructions and responded fast to any of our questions.

The town is magical with lots of hiking routs, bike rental options, sup option etc, restaurants and small shopping stores. The house was modern, new and clean and suited all our expectation. One thing I would add is a fan as in the early evening it gets a bit hot but during the night temperatures are dropping.

Mr Nikos (the host) is an exceptional, kind and generous guy. The place is beautiful and the houses luxurious. The staff is also very kind. We have nothing negative to say!
