It was nice that the tv had BBC iPlayer and Netflix, so we were able to relax and watch Paris olympics in evenings after all-day hikes. We hope to come back again.

A recently renovated holiday home located in Chesterfield, Garden Cottage - Ashover Village near Matlock features a garden. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is situated 17 km from Chatsworth House. What a beautiful cottage. Well designed and equipped, beautifully decorated, with a tiny but very nice garden, and dog friendly. Above all, we have felt very welcome here. Ashover is a very nice village and close to the Peak District. Would we like to stay at this place again? Absolutely!!

It was comfortable and had all the things we needed. Most of all, the setting and the view is beautiful. I loved the bird songs the sheep across the valley, the horses in the pasture next to the house. And the house was cozy and cute.

Pub just across the road. Altogether a paradise - I didn't want to leave and I would love to go back.
