Our weekend in this cottage was amazing. Not only the photos are very accurate and the house is super cozy, but the location is incredible. You are on top of the village so the view is mesmerizing. The hosts were very attentive and kind, they allowed us to do the checkout later so we could enjoy a bit more with our dog. We couldn’t speak Czech but this was no problem, we used the translator. The street is full of cottages and during our stay, we were the only ones there. It was super private and walking 15 min we found this amazing place on top of a hill covered in snow to watch the sunset. Eliška’s mom sells homemade honey and they are delicious. The whole house is fully equipped with everything (even extras heaters). I brought many things in case(salt, pepper, good knife for cooking, extra towels etc) but it was not necessary. The house also has a grill outside. We super recommend this cottage, we will definitely go back one day. My only suggestion is to upgrade the TV in the future. Could be bigger and smart (I had my laptop and a HDMI cable with me so it didn’t affect our stay). Other than that, I think this is a great place to stay. Our Australian shepherd loved it and it was adorable to watch him playing outside in the snow through the kitchen window/balcony while we were at breakfast.

Chata Filoména is a recently renovated holiday home in Herálec, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. for dinner they asked us to select from a menu and it was brought to us (this was great since we arrived 2 hours later than planned and we were tired) for breakfast the fridge was full with the usual (milk, butter, cheese spreads, ham, salami, paprika, tomatoes, eggs and a strawberry syrup). In addition, they brought us fresh bread and delicious pastry (to be found in front of the kitchen window) the shower was great (perfect water pressure and temperature) the kitchen was very well equipped (including a dishwasher and a very good coffee machine) and as the whole house interior looks as new every room has a infrared radiator that you can set at any temperature (just remember to turn it on and set it up) the beds are huge and very comfortable (the only downside is that one side faces the wall) the communication via booking was great and fast but keep in mind that at least on site we could not communicate in English the host is great!

The apartment provides nice parking place (outside of the fence). The apartment was sterile and clean.
