It's a fantastic place to stay in Minca. The house is clean and well-equipped with big rooms including a laundry. The location is perfect as it's just on the edge of the small town so a bit quieter but still close to everything. Morgan is a super friendly guy, interesting to chat with, and very attentive to anything you might need.

49 km from Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, Canto Tayrona Ecolodges is a recently renovated property situated in Buritaca and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. This was one of the most amazing vacation experiences of my entire life. The property is incredibly beautiful. It is very secluded so you can just experience nature at it's best. The house is fantastic. It has hot water for the shower!!! That is a clincher for me. The host was more than helpful and gave me so much information I couldn't remember it all. The waterfall near the property is enchanting. I can imagine living here and writing the great american novel. This is one of those places where those things happen. LOL

Featuring garden views, Sunset Serenata provides accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 19 km from Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino. This place is nothing short of amazing. This is exactly the kind of place we were looking for to relax and enjoy a few days in the jungle of Minca. The host, Theo, who lives just a few lower bends down the mountain road is extremely accommodating and he makes sure everything is perfect. The view from the property is spectacular, the bed extremely comfortable and there's nothing like waking up to the musical sound of the birds. Access to the remote property is an adventure as we used the moto taxis to get there from Minca. We used the recommended 4x4 taxi to get back to Santa Marta, for a more relaxed ride :). This was definitely the highlight of our week in Colombia and we would not hesitate one second to book this place again.

Boasting an open-air bath and views of garden, Cabañas con Jacuzzi, Tayrona vía Palomino - Villa Puy is a recently renovated villa set in Santa Marta, 48 km from Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino. The beach was just 10 minutes away by moto, making it incredibly convenient for us to enjoy its beauty whenever we wanted. It was also super close to Q Valencia, which made it the perfect spot to spend one of our mornings. The nights were equally delightful, with the surrounding nature offering both tranquility and privacy.

Located in Guachaca in the Magdalena region, ICACO refugio de playa has a patio and garden views. We had a wonderful stay in refugio de playa in September 2024. The villa is modern and clean with air conditioning among palm trees with easy access to a private beach with a day bed, comfortable chairs and hammocks. The area has a lot to offer from the tayrona national park to stunning waterfalls but its worth hiring a car. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay memorable, providing a blow up swimming pool, swing, and many toys for our two year old and helping us plan activities - even calling on relatives to provide us with a place to stay during our day trip to tayrona.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, pool view and a patio, CABAÑA TAYRONACA is located in Calabazo. This is an amazing and stylish new property, well located in close proximity to Parque Tayrona and the beach at Mendihuaca. It is spacious enough for a large family and has a great kiosk and bbq area. The grounds are lush and well kept as the rest of the property. We felt so welcome by the owners on arrival and the property keepers Luz and Yair looked after us very well throughout our stay and took us on a day trip to the nearby river and made the most delicious sancocho on site. Would definitively recommend a stay here in this family and dog friendly property.

We absolutely loved our stay there. Nestled just a 10-minute walk from Tayrona Park, Sierra Normandia offers a breathtaking escape into nature's embrace. Jungle surrounds you with a 360° view on the mountains. lagoons for swimming are also closeby. Vibrant toucans flit through the trees, and the sounds of hawling monkeys wake you up in the morning. While gazing upon the majestic mountains of the Sierra nevada with your morning cofee, this is a promise of an unforgettable immersion in Colombia's natural beauty.
