This is a wonderful, dream of a house. Paradise! It is overlooking the sea, with access to a small beach right under the house. It is located in a quiet village, which we appreciated particularly. The hosts' hospitality was exceptional. Best sunset in the Aegean, straight from the terrace. Highly recommended!

Stayed at Chálari with my family for 5 days. Location was perfect! 5 minutes by car from Christos (the coolest village in the whole island). Very close to the best beaches, restaurants and vineyards. The apartment has everything you might need. The owners were the friendliest short term 'landlords' we ever had. The view and the outside area were like a dream. Would recommend this place to everyone.

My husband and I stayed in a large unit (Eliana I think) with a separate bedroom and large living area with full kitchen. Which was extremely helpful as my husband had to work odd hours remotely and there was plenty of room so I wasn't woken.
Our two children stayed in a smaller villa, which backed onto ours, (no internal access, it is rented separately). They had combined kitchen bedroom room, and separate bathroom. Daughter slept in the large bed, son was very comfortable on the roomy couch bed.
The units were indeed airy. They were calm clean and I felt very very relaxed there. It was easy living.
Beds and bedding were very comfortable. Bathrooms lovely. Everything was so clean. Kitchens were well kitted out, full stove and fridge.
We enjoyed walking down to Christos Raches in the mornings and evenings.
I have had some lovely experiences and met some lovely people while staying in Ikaria, but for blissful physical comfort this was my favourite accommodation.

I had the most amazing stay at Monopati. The accommodation is perfect with its facility, comfortable bed, the view overlooking the ocean, the hiking trail, the quietness yet being so close to a lovely village. However, what made my stay amazing was the friendliness, kindness, and all the little things Lefteris, Maria and Vasilia prepared and did for me. From helping organizing a taxi, to preparing local biscuits, honey and fruits. I joined the family in picking olives, had home cooked meals, and had real conversations with real people. Staying in Monopati enabled me to learn from the Ikarians on how life should be lived.

Thank you to that sweet couple who welcomed us with pure kindness. Nicely offered us vegetables from their garden and delicious pies to start our morning. The balcony of the place offers a beautiful view!
