There was also a decent hairdryer and a good selection of tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and the menu was a bit limited and unimaginative but fine overall - the highlight was the cheeseboard, which was excellent. The buffet breakfast was good, with plenty of hot bacon etc, cereals and fresh fruit, but I would have liked a few more cold, continental-style options.
