The place was great and John helped us find the place and get in. Location was great and the place was spacious and clean. Also with private parking right in front of the cottage. Easy to get to Durham- Hall Hill Farm and Diggerland.

A recently renovated vacation home, Rhubarb Retreat - Stylish House, Sleeps 5, 10 mins to Durham City & Parking & Garden offers accommodations in Gilesgate.

Location was perfect for walking into the centre even through the snow! Nice size for the 4 of us and wished we could have made more use of the facilities. There were problems with the boiler and electricity but hosts were excellent with their responses.

The location was very quiet, but close to city centre, grocery store, and other activities. The home was well appointed, very clean, and beds comfortable (most comfortable beds during our entire visit). The bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious! The host was very good at communication, and very accommodating. This is the nicest accommodation we stayed at, but also the lowest price! We loved visiting Durham, and will definitely book here with Tabi again next time we visit Durham!

- Lovely clean house in a nice quiet estate with good facilities. - Great communication from the host who responded very quickly to any enquiries I had. -Fairly short drive to the city centre and there also a bus stop 10 mins walk away.
