Located in José Ignacio and with Mansa reachable within 500 metres, Wanderlust José Ignacio provides concierge services, rooms, a bar, free WiFi and a shared lounge. we had a double room en-suite and it was to a very high standard, cleaned daily and well equipped. the communal area is very convivial , clean and has great cooking facilities. what makes this place are the staff. nothing is too much trouble from bikes , to beach towels to a lift to the restaurant. breakfast is basic but nice,. it was the closest we came to being at home on a long trip. up can do your laundry which is great.

What a wonderful stay! The property was perfectly located minutes from the beach and the town of Jose Ignacio yet totally private in nature! The room was comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed. The breakfasts were typical with bread, ham, cheese, fruit and sweets and eggs upon request. The setting is divine with a swimming pool, lush gardens, and a wonderful shared kitchen area with bbq! The owner Nikki was delightful, and very helpful with whatever your needs and questions were. Thank you for the wonderful days in Paradise!

Set in José Ignacio, less than 1 km from Mansa, La Posadita offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a garden. Lovely small hotel. It was out of season , so we had the place to ourselves. Everywhere was nice and quiet. Fantastic town, 20 min walk. And amazing beaches, 5 mins away. Breakfast was lovely with options to eat inside or out. Gaston was great and his English is very good. He spent lots of time with us explaining what to do and where to go. Bus service into Punta del Este was reliable and cheap, £2 a trip.

The location itself, right in the middle of the nowhere_ direct connection with nature. Bring our walking shoes, and binoculars! The room and the posada amenities are great. But what really stands out from other places is the kindness and attention to detail from the staff. They make you feel at home. The beach is very close_ 20-min away_ so it is perfect to combine hills and beach. Little tip: Plan our tip on full moon nights.... :)

Featuring a seasonal outdoor pool and a hot tub, Naturista exclusivo HOMBRES is situated in Punta del Este, less than 1 km from Chihuahua Beach and 18 km from Punta del Este Bus Terminal Station. The location is very good near to chihuahua Beach, Punta Ballena, Casa pueblo. Good place to chill, nice pool for summers and Jaguzi as well. We extended our stay for one more day as we liked the place very much and comfortable.

The room is very nice. everything was very tidy and new. Towels ad sheets were very good, also beach chair, umbrella and towels are a plus. It has light and air, the bathroom had everything needed. Though there are things that have to be improved: Light coming through unshade windows, no hooks for the towels.

Situated in Piriápolis, 400 metres from Grande, BARAKA - Posada features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. This whole hotel is absolutely amazing and very homely. It's very small and outside from all the buzz of Piriápolis, 5-10 min walk to the beach (also very nice one, far less people than in actual Piriapolis). If you want to really relax, spend time with yourself- this is a best place is the world. The hotel is run by the family, and Gabriella, the main host, is incredibly friendly and also speaks perfect English. Everything is very tasteful and beautiful, every little detail. Already recommended this place to local friends and will definitely come again if happen to be in Uruguay
