The hosts were very welcoming, the atmosphere at the hotel is very cozy, feels like home. The facilities were also great - the pool and jacuzzi were very nice even in the colder season (we were here in March). Very nice and filling breakfast - toast, eggs, hams, cheeses, yoghurt, fruit, freshly baked scones and pies etc… The room is minimalistic, with stylish furniture, all you need. Overall feel at the hotel is that a lot of thought and heart went into it. The location is beautiful - amazing views from the room as well as beautiful nature and attractions nearby.

This guesthouse was very stylish and thoughtfully appointed. It had everything we needed and welcome glasses of port and sweets were provided. A nice touch. It was located on the first floor by a staircase above a very popular pasteleria which is where breakfast was served. This was one of the best breakfasts we have had and staff could not have been more helpful in ensuring we had everything we wanted during our 2 night stay. Car parking was very easy and convenient and free which was an added bonus. The guesthouse is also close to the train station We highly recommend A Tendinha to anyone staying in Peso da Regua who can manage a short flight of stairs.

Wines from the property are delicious, and the tasting tour is good and instructive as well. We enjoyed the sun, relaxed in the garden and the pool and we left with a feeling of peace and rest.

The house is super in everything: brand new, extremely clean, the shared kitchen is very well equipped. There is tea, coffee, olive oil, salt (everything that you need if you want to cook).
