We found this small hotel to be extremely charming, comfortable and perfectly located in downtown Coimbra. Our third-floor room (Cidreira) was clean and spacious, with sound-dampening panels on the shutters to minimize street noise. The antique pharmacy that served as the lobby was a very charming spot to enjoy the complimentary coffee, tea, fruit and muffins. Since the hotel is largely self-service, we could arrive and depart when it suited us, and we availed ourselves of their convenient luggage storage after checkout. While the lobby isn't constantly staffed, we met two staff members during our visit and both were very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Coimbra.

We really liked the concept of this hotel. Great experience! Highly recommend!

We stayed there with our three years old son and it was fantastic. The place is beautiful and perfect for families. They have an amazing garden with fruits, an area with chickens and lots of space for playing. The breakfast was excellent, everything was fresh and homemade, many items cooked with fruits from the garden. The host was great too, very helpful. Also Uber from the guest house to the city centre is only 5 euros. Looking forward to staying again!

Guest House Santa Clara har utsikt över floden Mondego River och Coimbras universitet. Absolutely fantastic place to stay. From the initial booking communication with Sofia was great. Place itself sits next to the river, 10 mins walk from the historical center. Bunch of brunch restaurants across the street, free and secure underground garage Convento de S Francisco 2 mins from the house and Aldi 5 mins. Room itself was spacious and clean and surprisingly not noisy at all considering where it sits, with fantastic view of the old town.

Offering an outdoor pool and sun terrace, Quinta Salinas is located in Aveiro, just steps from Bom Sucesso Sports Complex. University of Aveiro is 4 km away. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. The whole place is lovely. Spacious rooms and very clean. Breakfast was great. Pool area is incredible and best part they have beer to sell at the reception so you can enjoy lying down by the pool! :)

Marina Charming House erbjuder boende i hjärtat av Figueira da Foz, 3 minuters promenad från Casino Figueira. Boendet har en terrass och utsikt över havet, småbåtshamnen och floden Mondego. Great place, friendly staff. The breakfast was fresh and tasty and the premises were clean. We loved it.

EXCELLENT accommodation: nice room and quiet despite being on a busy street, super clean with clean-freshly-washed-smell coming from the bed sheets, nicely facilitated, option to self check-in in case of late arrival, friendly staff, beautiful breakfast, great atmosphere, something more than just value-for-money!!
